The Duskbloods

Dark Souls and Elden Ring developers Fromsoftware have announced their latest title, The Duskbloods, via an epic trailer at this year’s Nintendo Direct 2025.

Announced near the end of the Direct, gamers were treated to a trailer that showed epic monsters & enemies, shapeshifting characters, weapons and even a hint at co-op play.

Game details and release date

With no real details revealed yet, one of the most interesting aspects of this announcement is that is The Duskbloods will be a Nintendeo Switch 2 exclusive.

This is the first time Fromsoftware have had a console exclusive game since Bloodborne and may spark some anger from their fans who will have to fork out for an entire new console if they wish to experience the next title in their roster.

This is additionally painful as Nintendo have yet to announce the price of the Nintendo Switch 2, although they have reveal it’ll be available for purchase on June 5th 2025.
